Presentation Letter

On behalf of the Organizing Committee we invite you to attend the II World Congress of ESSV Research: Priorities in Health.

This conference will be a forum for meetings and discussions for all who are interested in health issues in the most diverse fields of intervention and research. In this sense, the conference offers a multidisciplinary approach where the promotion of physical and mental health, health education, health communication, health policies and the curative and palliative care may be discussed in order to contribute to increased knowledge in health, with oversight by several European experts.

It will be a meeting where professionals can exchange opinions, experiences, research projects and knowledge, with a view to substantiating the best practices in scientific evidence.

It will be a space where you can display and give visibility to work and research, current and future, in your professional area, in the symposium’s oral communication or poster format, and you can submit your proposals to the assessment of the scientific committee, until 6 September 2014.

We emphasize the opportunity to share experiences and results that can be processed with the scientific community from various countries, knowing that the knowledge that you will bring to this world congress will contribute significantly to achieving better health outcomes.

Convinced of the quality of papers submitted to the congress, it has been a concern of the organization to provide the publication thereof, whereby the selected abstracts for symposia, oral communications and posters will be published in a special issue of Atención Primaria, indexed journal of the Index Medicus/Medline, Excerpta Medica/EMBASE, IBECS, IME, SCOPUS, Medes, Science Citation Index Expanded.

We are counting on you in Viseu, one of the most beautiful cities of Portugal, on the 7th and 8th of October 2014.

Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee
